Abstract
Background:
Basically atrial fibrillation is the most common cause of heart failure and heart stroke. Both of these severe attacks occur due to irregular rhythm of heart beat. Either heart beat is too slow or too fast, both conditions are not admirable and disturbs whole body function. Some sleep disorders also caused by this irregular rhythm of heart beat. Sometime patients start suffering from sleep apnea. In this condition, patient feels insufficient supply of oxygen in their body. This disease is mostly explored among the people in middle age.
Objective:
Main objective of this study is to examine the connection between the atrial fibrillation and sleep disorder present in patients. Another aspect of this study is that it mostly effects people among middle age. Middle age adults suffers most from sleep disorder like sleep apnea and many other sleep issues.
Methods:
In this study, we plan to experiment on multiple people to get accurate result. That’s why we take approx. 300 people of middle age for our study. Our case study shows that about 50% of patients suffers from atrial fibrillation but remaining 50% we not having any sign of atrial fibrillation but it was due to sex or sleeping issues. We make a questionnaires related to sleep and ask from these patients to clarify results.
Results:
Sleep disorders including insomnia and sleep apnea were 67% related to atrial fibrillation group and 33% were of control group. MLR analysis show strong link between sleep disorder and atrial fibrillation. Results clarify the accurate percentage of both sleep disorder and atrial fibrillation in patients.
Conclusion:
Mostly sleep disorders like sleep apnea were associated with atrial fibrillation specially in middle age adults. Now lots of researches and studies are going on to solve sleep disorder issues among patients. Many doctors and agencies are involved to solve this issue and prevent people from sleep disorder like insomnia and sleep apnea which have a strong link with atrial fibrillation.
